Yoga is the practice of uniting mind, body and spirit. It is about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. In addition to practicing the poses, yoga may also include instruction on breathing, call and response chanting and meditation. 


Yoga can be considered the most complete form of fitness there is. It can benefit your mental focus, concentration, stress management and spiritual growth along with your strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, balance and breathing efficiency. Yoga can stand alone or compliment your fitness regimen. A yoga session can range from very gentle and restorative to extremely challenging. We offer Yoga in a private personal training format, semi private small group, or traditional size Yoga class.

Yoga Fusion

An integration of Yoga and other modalities including Tai Chi and Chi Gong. This style can be physically demanding or gentle.


Power Yoga

Power Yoga is usually physically demanding due to the continuous flow of weight-bearing movements, such as the Sun Salutation and deep ujiay breathing.



Yoga and pilates are very complimentary and create a synergetic workout when combined. Provides for a very relaxing, yet intense class. Builds strength, flexibility, breath awareness, among other things.


Gentle Restorative Yoga

This type of Yoga is slower, gentler, and more relaxing. This can be great at any time but is perfect after a long stressful day.
