regarding their way of thinking and doing.
One common misconception is that a hypnotized person loses their will and is partially or completely under the command of the hypnotherapist. Nothing could be further from the truth. Hypnotherapy
is a simple common sense form of relaxation, in which the participant is completely under control at all times. Hypnotherapy is one of many stress management techniques that bring the mind-body
connection back into balance.
When we are upset it can be very challenging to be open to feedback, but in the relaxed state of hypnosis, we are open to that same feedback. We can start with one session to help reveal what is
holding you back and show you how you are completely in control. Generally, hypnotherapy involves 2-4 sessions but can be more or less. Subsequent sessions are used to further work towards
changing your mindset.
